History.

Glenrothes Youth Judo Club and Sports Clubs was the brainwave of David Sneddon, 6th Dan Judo.

David explored different venues but with the help of Cllr Bill Kay they finally struck a deal with Fife Council. The deal was to lease a building which is now called Glenrothes Martial Arts Centre at Alburne Park, Glenrothes for 25 years.

He moved his judo club into the premise and attempted to recruit other clubs to join him.

Glenrothes Youth Judo Club and Sports Clubs was registered as a limited company on 17th May 2006 and a board of Directors appointed.
