Scottish Ju Jitsu Society Seminar.

The Scottish Ju Jistu Society (SJJS)  held a seminar at the Centre on 5th May, which was attended by over 50 students.

The SJJS is made up of six clubs - Glenrothes, Kirkcaldy, Burntisland, Bathgate, Lochgelly and Aberdeen.

Students from these clubs travelled from afar to take instrucution from Robert Clark, 9th Dan, founder of the world wide organisation the World Ju Jistu Federation, and his instructors. His instructor were Simon Rimmington 7th Dan, National and International Coach, Sue Both 6th Dan and Brian Turby 6th Dan. All had just returned from Italy after conducting a seminar for the Italian WJJF clubs.

The seminar lasted three hours and all students benifited from Mr Clark's knowledge in the martial art of ju jitsu.

It is hope that the Scottish Ju Jitsu Society will hold another seminar later in the year and bring back these international instructors.
